Tangerine (Sean Baker, 2015) follows Sin-Dee Rella (Kitana Kiki Rodriguez), a transgender sex worker just released from a 28-day prison sentence. Meeting her best friend Alexandra (Mya Taylor) at a Hollywood donut shop, Sin-Dee learns her pimp and boyfriend, Chester, has been unfaithful with a cisgender woman. Furious, she embarks on a chaotic odyssey through the city's streets to confront him and the woman.
The movie will be screened in its original version (with Italian subtitles), making it fully accessible to non-Italian speakers looking for a cultural night out under the stars.
